Boys, dirt, sand gnats and water!

We are so glad to have Jeff's boy this week. Charlie is 10 and Luke is 5. They are on spring break. We have had a great time so far..let's see, I went and got them on Tuesday. We went to see "Horton Hears a Who" (cute movie), bought some plants for the garden Wednesday. Then....
We put them to work!
Well, I did get one cheesy smile from these farmers.
Wayne calls this my pretend garden, if it's not 40 acres it's "pretend" to him..but he nor I have the time any more..a few tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, onions and egg plants is all I can handle. Does that sound like "pretend" to you?

So serious..

We had a very serious day last Saturday in Waynesboro, Tornado's went with in just a few miles on both sides of us. We all held hands and prayed. The Lord answered and we had only wind (60 mph), rain & hail but no damage.Miss Katie always has a smile, even when the wind is seriously messin' up her hair.
Miss Em was thinking very hard... serious business
Little "e" was working hard on his Indian weapon, serious work
The wind had picked up, even Mac was seriously dirty
Well, almost everyone was serious..He was tryin' out his Indian weapon.
Hey, Big "E" if you are wondering where all your string went.... I may have the answer. Have your people call my people.. LOL.

Moving right along...Thanks to the worker bees

My Hero's! they worked so hard...
Yes! We have electricity! and Porch fans! If we could just get a bathroom...
This the 3rd floor, with the bead board up, a fun fan for the kids.. The room is 12'x30' so it's long but the kids like it cause it's the "attic".
These workers toted up large sheets of bead board all day, lets see it was about 35 sheets total. Thank you girls very much. I know you took a lot of grief from the group in the top photo but, I could never have made it with you.
