Tufted Titmouse Hangin on!

I love to watch these guys hangin' on eating.Sorry about the post, but I was having a hard time catching him.
Watching them makes my neck hurt though. Looks like they are straining so hard.
You would think I would put the matching Bird feeder out on the other side of the post!
Perhaps next time, I'll get a better shot.

There has got to be a better way to eat! LOL. Makes my neck hurt too!

Was this with the 300 mm lens? I'm wondering how you're getting in so close if not. Of course, even your kit lens is longer than my 50 mm. The only way I can get birds that close is if I shoot through the window and get them eating at the feeder.

About the lens. I want to try to get a good photo of the moon. You should try it if you have a tripod...or something you can prop your camera on (safely, of course!). I can't wait to see what you and Jamie shoot while the two of you are together for a couple of weeks.

As a matter of fact, I tried the moon shot but way to shaky. I tried the prop it thing and not much better, maybe someday soon we will be able to try this shot together w/ a tripod. I do not plan on taken my camera with me, do not trust the airline. I 'll have to use Jame's. If she will let me. It will be fun!

Yeah, I would be kinda scared to take my camera with me too. Ugh, what am I saying?! I'm too scared to even take ME on a plane! LOL We'll definitely have to try the moon shot!

Ms. Judy, I do believe that you could make a mouse look cute, and I don't like them! You do great work!

I agree with Wendy! Whats sad is...I've never seen one of these birds before! How do I attract them to my yard??

These birds are deffinately an original. God sure made it difficult for them to eat. Can you just throw the seed on the ground for them? That's mighty hard work for birdseed!
