I took this picture a week ago.
The flowers are not raving beauties..
but I think I like it because of the focus, and the light.
Cone Flowers are tough and can take being planted in my sunny yard.
These were just beginning to bloom.
Well, that's it for tonight. Perhaps I will find a more interesting subject tomorrow.

Very pretty. I can see why you like it. You sound like me today with pulling from older files. I've not recovered from having company all last week and haven't gotten caught up with work yet either. I've worked today until Adam and Shanon came over to visit and then ordered a pizza. Ugh. I'll never catch up at this rate!
I like these flowers, too. They are not the MOST beautiful flower, but I do think that they have a certain charm!! They are different looking. Do they come in all colors?
I can't seem to catch up either, with company and appts. I don't know whether I am coming or going or resting!!! That's pretty bad!
Boy, do we all need to slow down and smell the cone flowers???? Do you think it will ever change?

Jamie I have pink and yellow ones. I don't know of any other colors they come in.
I have the purple and white, don't know of any others. If they do, someone let me know! I love coneflowers. I really like the lighting in this pic. Good job!
