Literally!... these were the hardest little guys to catch up with,
I'd try to find them in the view finder and they would be gone.
They were so thin when they put their wings together;
you could only see them from the side.
I'm a little out of focus here but, I really was proud to get a profile.I'm going to try again later to see if I can do better later catching up with these fast flyer's.

The pictures are really great! Love the flowers & butterfly.
Well it took me a minute to see what your complaint was. I saw the flowers and thought the gree was a leaf!!!! Clicked to enlarge and could deffinately see the butterflys then. Good job, flying critters are difficult.
I agree, flying critters ARE difficult! But you did a great job. I like the second one. I went out months ago to catch a butterfly on the back porch, but my darn camera was acting up. Scared me to death because I had just gotten the new camera, but it hasn't done it again. The shutter was dragging or something. Couldn't get the shutter up to speed so everything was blurred. I've not been motivated enough to try again. lol. you did great!
I tried a butterfly shot once too but it did not turn out well. Good job!
