They are very fast, kinda like kids who will not sit still to have their picture made. I keep trying to get a good photo of one with his wings opened. So stay tuned.
I have so many "flying things" in my backyard...and that's all I've had time photograph lately.

Those flowers are the prettiest blue. The yellow butterfly compliments the blue. Great job!!
very nice composition. don't apologize for your photos. photograph what makes you happy. if winged creatures make you happy...then by all means shoot them. Er...that didn't sound right, did it?! LOL.

Well, I love all your flying critters. The boys have lately been uncooperative in their poses. Today Luke wanted a mohawk, it stood up 5 inches on top and he wouldn't let me take a picture!!!!!!!!!! Little stinker. LOL
