A Treasure Found

As you may have figured out, we have been looking at property for about a year. We had 4 requirements, 1. It needed to be at least 100 acres 2. It needed to have a creek 3. It needed to have a small house on it 4. It needed to be in our budget. Well, 3 out of 4 is not bad! It does not have a house on it but, we will build that in due time.
It is 164.45 ac. and this is a picture of the creek on the property, looking towards the left. The creek is a little dry now because of the lack of rain but it will fill nicely when the rains are sent from above. It's about 10 miles out of Waynesboro, GA on Ga highway 56. (Ironic it's named after him huh?) It's the Birddog Capital of the World. Guess you could call it Wayne's World *hehehe*

This is the creek as you are walking up to it. This is where most of the fun is planned. I can see the kids splashing now! And fishing is a must. We signed the contract today and will close in May. Our dream is that our children and grandchildren will spend lots of days here making wonderful memories.
I would like to say that this comes from hard work and
as a real blessing from our Lord, without whom we would have nothing!
